The Malossi Sport cylinder kit is one of the most popular upgrade choices for Minarelli vertical engine scooters. It upgrades your scooter from 50cc to 70cc, which is clearly noticeable as more bottom pull and stronger acceleration already from low revs. The Cylinders are made of cast iron, which is known for its high durability and ability to withstand many kilometers driven. Compared to the Polini Sport, the Malossi Sport is a bit more rev-happy, but the character is otherwise very similar, so you get both a strong pull and good top speed. The kit comes complete with Gaskets, Piston rings and everything you need for assembly.

The cylinder kit fits scooters with Minarelli vertical air-cooled engines, including Yamaha BWS/Spy 50, Yamaha Slider 50, Aprilia SR 50 and Aprilia Amico 50. Before you install the kit, there are a few things you need to be aware of. You need a Spark Plugs with a short thread (M14x12.7mm), we recommend NGK BR8HS for this Cylinders. The Crankshafts must be compatible with ø10mm crosspin, so check this before purchase if you are unsure of your engine’s specifications. It’s a good idea to adjust the Carburetors when fitting a new cylinder kit so the engine gets the right fuel mixture.
