HI:PE Carbon Clutches, made for the demanding gear machine

When the engine is tuned and outperforms the original, the standard clutch can’t always keep up. This clutch upgrade from HI:PE is specially designed for demanding engines, where heat and high pressure take their toll on the Clutches. Each Clutch Plates is made of steel and reinforced with carbon fiber, which is a material that withstands high temperatures and maintains grip even when it gets really hot inside the clutch bowl. The kit contains one more clutch and friction plate than the original, which increases the overall friction surface and gives the Clutches a firmer and more stable grip. Reinforced Clutch Springs are also included in the package. Note: Before installation, soak the plates in the Oil you use for the Clutches, as they are very tight and cannot absorb the oil by themselves after installation. We recommend Galp S 4T 10W-40.

The clutch kit fits a range of popular 50cc 2-stroke geared machines with D50B0 and EBE050 engines, including models from Aprilia, Derbi and Gilera. Compatible models include Aprilia RS 50, Aprilia SX 50, Derbi Senda X-treme, Derbi Senda DRD Pro SM, Gilera RCR and Gilera SMT. Check the compatibility list for your specific model and year, as the Clutches must fit exactly to the clutch bowl in your engine.
