LS2 Rapid III – The evolution of a legend

Since its conception, the LS2 Rapid model has been shaking up the market and bringing high quality at a low price to consumers – and now LS2 has once again raised the bar for what an entry-level Helmets should do and bring to the table with the Rapid III.

Racing inspired design with strong functionality

The Rapid III Helmets has become even sharper in its design, including a new aerodynamic Spoilers at the rear, which together with the overall more straight-cut design, starting at the sharper and more aggressive front, breaks the wind more effectively, reducing both wind resistance and together with the new, revised sealing strip between helmet and Visors, reduces the perceived noise level compared to previous models.

The new vents offer even better ventilation and ease of use compared to the Rapid III’s predecessors, as the vents on the Sockets of the Helmets now open and close together in one easy touch, where previously they had to be operated separately. The interior has also been given an overhaul and has become even more stylish and premium than before, both in terms of materials and most importantly the comfort of wearing the Helmets, even for longer periods of time – and that’s a testament to a very high level, as the predecessor of the LS2, the Rapid II, set a high standard in its price range.

Approved according to the latest safety requirements

The LS2 FF353 Rapid III is ECE 22.06 certified, which means that the Helmets meets the latest and much stricter requirements for impact and shock absorption, as well as requirements for field of vision and the interior of the helmet, all key points for helmet safety, than before. The helmet model has been through relentless testing from the concept stage and again as the finished model offered here – and has passed.
